Kalamazoo Grills: Outstanding Grills,
Superb Performance and Quality,
Costly
Let’s say you’re looking for the best of
the best. You want to buy the perfect outdoor grill for your
poolside kitchen or backyard patio.
Quality, performance and durability must be top notch.
After all, it’s not just a grill, it’s an investment. If
you’re looking for the Rolls Royce of gas grills, you’ve come
to the right spot as a Kalamazoo Outdoor
Gourmet grill may be just the one
you've been looking
for.
Modern Kalamazoo Grills have been around for over 10 years and
are all based on an original 100 year old custom designed
grill. In 1906, W.E. Upjohn, a prominent local doctor and
founder ofthe sucessful Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, had plans
drawn up for a custom outdoor grill by Louis Bullard of
Kalamazoo Sheet Metal. Over 100 years later Mr. Bullard’s great
grandson found these plans, and launched Kalamazoo Grill as we
know them today.
Nothing was lost over the years as Kalamazoo has kept up the
tradition of offering highly custom grills with exceptional
quality and performance. Today Kalamazoo makes every part
needed to design the perfect outdoor kitchen. You can customize
your grill with almost anything you want including initials
inscribed in the metal or grates. Their current lineup consists
of a wide variety of grills ranging from 432 to 864 primary
square inches of cooking space, plus additional warming racks.
They offer some of the most powerful grills on the market with
BTU’s starting at 66,000 and exceeding 175,000. All this
performance comes at a cost of around 6,700 dollars to a little
over 14,700 dollars.
While these grills are
expensive, you are sure to be amazed. Each Kalamazoo grill is
handmade from laser cut high quality steel. This is the
kind of grill that will last decades, not years. Only the best
quality materials are used in construction. All 304 stainless
and some 316 marine grade stainless steel are used depending on
your level of customization. The grates are cut from
quarter inch steel to the design of your choice. As
evidence to the quality, some of these grills can weigh close
to 500 pounds.
Kalamazoo has several unique
aspects to their grills that make them a versatile choice
for grilling enthusiasts. If you can’t choose between gas or
charcoal, then use both, if you like hard wood, use it. With
the three fuel system the choice is yours. Whichever you
choose, you are sure to get plenty of power. These grills
can easily heat up to over 800 degrees, have redundant
electronic ignition, even heating, and rarely flare up. In
addition Kalamazoo offers excellent customer service and a
lifetime warranty on all their products.
Overall, if you’re in the market
for one of the most outstanding grills made, this is a serious
consideration. It will last decades, puts out more than enough
power, and has the versatility of three grills in
one.
