Members Mark: Surprisingly Good Grill,
Direct Customer Care, Best in Class
Finding
a quality grill exported from China is like finding a needle in
a haystack. Members Mark Grills are one such needle. They are
both made and exported by Grand Hall Manufacturing of Taiwan.
Grand Hall Manufacturing is one of, if not the best Chinese
exporter and manufacturer of gas grills. Unlike most Chinese
grills that have deeply saturated the U.S. market, Members Mark
grills still incorporate quality and customer service into
their grills. This is not something you normally find at big
box discount stores such as Sam’s Club where Members Mark
grills are sold.
What you do find with Members
Mark grills are feature packed stainless steel grills
that are sold at affordable prices. Not many other grill
manufacturers have been able to achieve this price point
with a such feature packed and realtively
good quality grill. This grill will
outlast most Char-Broil,
Master
Forge, and Charmglow
models that you commonly find at home
improvement stores which are usually made from
lower quality materials and often priced
higher.
Currently Sam’s is offering four
Members Mark Grill models. These models are very feature
packed grills; several models even include and oven, searing
burner, or refrigerator. All models include a grill cover
and come 95 percent assembled. In addition to being feature
packed, Members Mark Grills are powerful and large. Sizes
range from 880 to 1168 square inches of cooking area and
from 63,000 to 99,000 BTU. These grills are often on sale but
are normally priced from 399 to 799
dollars.
Although
Members Mark grills offer a lot for the price, they do have a
few small short comings. The 430 stainless steel is a little
thinner than it could be in both the cart and burner. In
addition, the hood and cart may have the tendency to rust and
should always be kept covered. Also the warranty could be a
little longer as it ranges from only one to five years
depending on the part.
Overall, Members Mark Grills are a good consideration for those
looking for a midrange priced grill. When given
the sales price, heat output, and full features it may be
especially hard for many buyers it to pass
up.
